Dr. Kylie Thorp

Acupuncturist
Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Kylie is a Chinese Medicine Practitioner, holding a Master of Applied Science (Acupuncture) from RMIT University and a Registered Nurse. With over a decade of experience in nursing, Kylie brings a calm, deeply compassionate, and grounded approach to patient care, supported by a strong understanding of both Western and Eastern health frameworks.

Her journey into Chinese Medicine grew from a desire to support healing beyond symptom management, to care for the whole person holistically, nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. Kylie was drawn to acupuncture for its gentle yet powerful ability to restore balance, support the body’s natural healing processes, and create meaningful change over time.

Her areas of interests include musculoskeletal pain, neurological conditions, digestive health and immunity, psychological wellbeing, and overall supportive care for women, men, and children. Kylie values creating a safe and supportive space where patients feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare journey. She integrates evidence-informed acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, offering treatments that are personalised to support long-term wellbeing and balance.
